Vice President of Finance (Volunteer) - 100% Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vice President of Finance (Volunteer) to join the German Aid Association e.V. in a fully remote capacity. As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring the sustainability of our organization. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a sustainable financing strategy that supports the growth of our economic units.
- Engage directly with banks, investors, funding agencies, and strategic investors to secure necessary capital.
- Create and coordinate financing models, liquidity plans, and capital requirement analyses.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Business Operations and the federal board on all financial matters.
- Contribute to the development of pitch decks, investment offers, and buyback options.
- Build a robust network with capital providers, family offices, banks, and public institutions.
- Ensure short-term cash flow security and support strategic mid-term planning.
- Participate in regular meetings and strategic decision-making formats.
Requirements
- Completed studies in finance, economics, banking, corporate finance, or a comparable field.
- Proven experience in investor relations, financing discussions, banking, or investment structures.
- High affinity for numbers, entrepreneurial thinking, and independent solution orientation.
- Ability to persuade capital partners effectively.
- Willingness to work voluntarily with a strategic focus and high responsibility.
- Strong identification with the DEHIB brand and a commitment to integrity and professional communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience in nonprofit financial management.
