Senior Director of Sales - Protein XI for EMEA

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Sales - Protein XI for EMEA to lead revenue execution for the ProteinXI (PXI) division across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In this remote role, you will build and scale a high-performing field organization while driving consistent use of Salesforce for pipeline management and forecast accuracy. You will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Field Applications, Customer Service, and Finance/Operations to ensure disciplined execution against quarterly and annual targets.

What You'll Do

  • Own the ProteinXI EMEA bookings/revenue target and deliver consistent attainment across quarters.
  • Establish and run a disciplined weekly/monthly operating cadence including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, deal strategy, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Drive accurate forecasting, conversion discipline, and deal governance.
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and performance-manage the EMEA PXI sales team.
  • Define coverage models for territories and key accounts, and create a culture of accountability.
  • Own adoption and quality of CRM usage, ensuring compliance with required reporting.
  • Lead strategic customer engagements and maintain strong technical competence in PXI workflows.
  • Partner with Product Management and Marketing on segmentation, positioning, and launch execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of B2B capital plus consumables/assay/omics solutions sales experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience leading teams.
  • Strong command of consultative/enterprise selling and complex deal management.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM-driven selling systems, particularly SalesForce.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in life-science workflows such as omics and translational biomarker discovery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expert Excel skills.
  • Experience in building and scaling commercial teams.
