Zurich is currently seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist - Complex Casualty to join our team in a remote capacity. What You'll Do
- Generate, underwrite, and analyze domestic Complex and Loss Sensitive Casualty business.
- Engage in market-facing and production activities to build strong broker relationships.
- Comply with underwriting rules, insurance laws, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain agency and broker relationships to enhance business opportunities.
- Work within broad limits and authorities on complex assignments to ensure effective risk assessment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with 3+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing roles.
- Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support.
- Knowledge of domestic complex casualty products and legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to assess risk effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
