Environmental Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Environmental Intern to join our team at Tronox, a leading global manufacturer of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and other materials that enhance the durability and brilliance of everyday products. This Environmental Intern remote position will allow you to contribute to our mission of shaping a sustainable and prosperous world through refined minerals.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve our environmental footprint.
• Establish a monitoring plan for water consumption savings.
• Compile an inventory of environmental flows.
• Optimize the tracking of dust fallout.
• Provide responses to regulatory authorities regarding the impact of our activities on local waterways.
• Participate in all environmental missions of the department.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac+5 degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of chemical engineering and chemistry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in computer tools, especially Excel.
• Dynamic and detail-oriented.
• Availability for a 5 to 6-month internship.

Nice to Have

• Experience in environmental management or sustainability projects.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance.
