UI/​UX Developer - AI-Focused Remote Position

About the Role

Ruby Labs is seeking a talented UI/UX Developer (AI-Focused Remote) to join our innovative team. As a UI/UX Developer, you will independently create and implement interface solutions, leveraging modern AI tools to enhance your designs. This role is not just about coding; it's about crafting exceptional user experiences that resonate with our customers.

What You'll Do

• Create UI concepts from scratch based on product requirements, references, or ideas without relying on existing design files.
• Utilize AI-powered UI tools (such as Hero UI Chat, Lovable, and Figma AI) to accelerate design exploration and prototyping.
• Translate requirements into intuitive, structured, and visually consistent interfaces.
• Implement UI using technologies like Next.js (15+), React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build reusable component-based UI structures to enhance development efficiency.
• Ensure visual consistency, responsiveness, and usability across all platforms.
• Take full ownership of UI delivery from concept to final implementation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, including layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usability.
• Experience creating interfaces independently without relying on designers or pre-made design files.
• Familiarity with AI tools for UI generation and exploration.
• Basic but recent experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Ability to independently interpret requirements and deliver polished UI solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience building reusable component libraries.
• Experience in direct-to-consumer (D2C) or product-oriented environments.
• Strong awareness of accessibility and usability best practices.
