We are seeking a Treasury Operations Manager to join our team at Kraken. What You'll Do

• Manage a team of 3-5 Treasury Analysts to ensure effective treasury operations and deliver results for the organization.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and interpretation of cash flows, loans, interest earnings, and custom treasury forecasting.
• Utilize Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and collaborate with banking partners to execute high-value payments.
• Work closely with treasury and OTC trading analysts to execute crypto trades and fiat foreign exchange transactions.
• Maintain treasury operations tools across multiple global banking partners, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Partner with Kraken’s global OTC trading team to provide 24/7 settlement services and enhance client experience.
• Conduct detailed analysis and deploy liquidity management tools to optimize internal ledger and bank account balances.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes, focusing on data verification, quality, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Services, and Treasury roles.
• Demonstrable knowledge and passion for bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
• Professional experience with crypto operations, settlements, and custody systems.
• Experience managing or supervising a team for at least 2 years.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build financial models.
• Understanding of global payment networks such as SWIFT and SEPA.
• Technical skills in Excel and SQL preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in executing and settling spot FX in fiat and/or crypto.
• Strong comprehension of balance sheets and transaction effects on assets and liabilities.
• Experience overseeing audit controls.
