Privacy Counsel - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Logitech is hiring a Privacy Counsel to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. As a Privacy Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our world-class privacy function while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. This position reports directly to the Lead Privacy Counsel and is part of the Privacy & AI Governance team within our Legal department. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating privacy and AI contracts, developing privacy notices and policies, and providing expert legal advice to business partners across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Advise on data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, and AI terms.
• Respond to privacy-specific questions in RFPs and RFIs.
• Draft and maintain appropriate procedures and playbooks for the use of templates.
• Conduct assessments on international data transfers and provide advice on compliance.
• Draft privacy and data protection-related policies and review them against leading industry standards.
• Provide specialized advice on the implementation and impact of global privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to identify legal requirements and translate them into actionable steps.
• Partner with Privacy Operations and AI Governance colleagues to enhance our compliance program.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in privacy/data protection law, ideally in a multinational tech company.
• Deep understanding of global privacy standards including GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI governance.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
