Corporate Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join our team as a Corporate Controller in a remote capacity! At 1&1, you will be an integral part of our financial operations, overseeing the preparation of monthly financial and KPI reports for department heads, management, and the corporate board. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of Germany's largest alternative fiber optic networks, supporting around 50,000 business customers.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly financial and KPI reports for department heads, management, and the corporate board.
• Conduct variance analyses and respond to ad-hoc inquiries.
• Act as a liaison for intercompany performance relationships, particularly in the context of 5G.
• Enhance reporting functionalities using IBM Cognos TM1.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Calculate economic viability analyses.

Requirements

• A completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
• At least two years of relevant experience in controlling.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Independent and goal-oriented work style, high commitment, and resilience.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Experience working with multidimensional databases is desirable.
• Fluent in German (minimum C1) and good English skills (minimum B1).

Nice to Have

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Familiarity with financial software and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in finance.
