About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Temporary Quality and Excellence Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact on the quality of services provided to our customers. As a Quality and Excellence Officer remote, you will coordinate and deliver the housing-related support audit program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and deliver the housing-related support (HRS) audit program for Supported Living.
  • Write comprehensive audit reports and generate remedial actions on our quality monitoring system (RADAR).
  • Provide monitoring and reporting data on regional quality standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with local and area service managers on their improvement plans.
  • Support service managers in preparing for external inspections and contract monitoring requirements.
  • Conduct thematic analysis of quality assurance data and audits to benchmark and drive change.
  • Deliver workshops and Q&A sessions as part of the quality learning program.
  • Champion exceptional care and support, ensuring services meet customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to evaluate information, assess risks, and write complex reports.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated towards excellence with a proactive approach to identifying innovative practices.
  • Experience in assessing quality of service delivery, particularly in person-centered support plans.
  • Qualification in Health & Social Care or Quality Assurance is desirable.
  • Knowledge of current supported housing legislation and regulation.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including potential overnight stays away from home.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RADAR, Inform, Star Online (Triangle), I-Planit.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behavior support.
  • Previous experience in supported accommodation or care-related services.
