Operational Excellence Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to join our team remotely. This role will focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence within our manufacturing site in Selestat, France. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our industrial performance and implementing best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the deployment of the continuous improvement initiative (O+) throughout the site, utilizing Lean and Integrated Work System (IWS) methodologies.
• Establish tools, standards, and routines for effective management, including a Daily Management System.
• Oversee the implementation of practices on a cell-by-cell basis and support teams in their adoption.
• Train and coach operational teams and managers to foster a culture of excellence.
• Maintain a strong presence on the ground to engage with teams and promote commitment to the initiative.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success.
• Manage the continuous improvement team, defining service objectives and supporting skill development.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Significant experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence (minimum 8-10 years) in a demanding industrial process environment.
• Experience in IWS or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in leading industrial transformations.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools.
• Professional English proficiency (minimum B2).
