Software Engineer II - Cloud-Native Microservices

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our innovative team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. In this remote Software Engineer II position, you will collaborate across teams to build and deliver impactful products that enhance operational efficiency and improve risk assessment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices architectures.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless microservices communication.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and manage microservices on Azure cloud platforms, including Azure Container Apps.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

Requirements

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
• Proven ability to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Familiarity with Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture in a production environment.
• Knowledge of additional cloud services beyond Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
