EPC Planning Specialist - Renewable Energy (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking an EPC Planning Specialist - Renewable Energy (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Zelestra. As an EPC Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of renewable energy projects across Southern Europe and Latin America. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute to our mission of decarbonizing the world.
What You'll Do
- Develop initial project schedules using tools such as MS Project and Primavera, ensuring alignment with established procedures.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the energy generation project lifecycle from inception to commercial operation date (COD).
- Integrate project schedules into contracts for third-party EPC projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with key deadlines.
- Act as a central communication point between engineering, procurement, and construction teams, facilitating timely updates on project progress.
- Regularly update project schedules for program directors or investment committees, accurately reflecting all changes.
- Identify critical paths within project schedules and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in financial planning and monitoring of projects, integrating schedules, budgets, and physical progress for effective forecasting.
- Utilize process automation tools to enhance operational standards and methodologies.
Requirements
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the EPC construction sector for solar or renewable energy.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience in international project coordination.
- Familiarity with financial forecasting and cash flow management.
