Technical Program Manager - Blockchain Payments

About the Role

We're hiring a Technical Program Manager remote to join our innovative team at Polygon Labs. As a global blockchain payments company, we are on a mission to revolutionize the way money moves across the globe. Our infrastructure has facilitated trillions of dollars in on-chain value transfer, supporting millions of transactions daily for some of the largest banks and fintechs. In this role, you will be pivotal in enabling the delivery of scalable, reliable, and compliant fintech and payments infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Drive end-to-end program execution for major Open Money Stack initiatives, supporting multiple engineering teams.
• Plan and manage complex technical programs involving fintech and payment processing systems.
• Coordinate dependencies and execution across multiple engineering teams to reduce delivery risk.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align technical execution with strategic objectives.
• Support integration efforts with external infrastructure and fintech service providers.
• Establish and maintain program plans, milestones, and reporting using TPM frameworks.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies to maintain delivery predictability.
• Ensure operational readiness and cross-team alignment for successful launches.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Technical Program Manager in fintech, payments, or blockchain.
• Strong background with distributed systems and infrastructure engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing programs with external technical collaborators.
• Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery predictability across initiatives.
• Proficiency with program management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with payment processing platforms or financial infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with Ethereum-based systems or blockchain financial products.
• Program or project management certifications such as PgMP or PMP.
