Strategic Buyer - Indirect Procurement (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Buyer - Indirect Procurement to join our team remotely. In this role, you will develop and implement category strategies in indirect procurement to optimize costs, quality, and risks. As a Strategic Buyer, you will identify and realize savings and optimization potentials, negotiate contracts, and conduct tenders. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect procurement.
• Identify savings and optimization potentials in procurement processes.
• Lead negotiations and conduct tenders for supplier contracts.
• Analyze procurement markets and identify suitable suppliers for various internal needs.
• Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers and internal departments.
• Support problem-solving in procurement challenges.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and enhance procurement standards and processes.

Requirements

• Completed business or technical education (Matura, degree, or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with SAP (MM module) is advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Independent and assertive working style.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a confident demeanor.
