About the Role
We are seeking a Specialist in Common Competence Area to join OP Financial Group in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective and high-quality support for the development and maintenance of internal services. As a Specialist in Common Competence Area, you will be responsible for overseeing ICT development and maintenance, ensuring adherence to OP Pohjola's practices and guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Lead the ICT development and maintenance initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Manage IT resource allocation based on technology roadmaps and collaborate with procurement for service acquisitions.
- Support compliance and regulatory requirements related to system development and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with suppliers and cost-effective service acquisitions.
- Provide guidance and support to competence centers in development methodologies and requirements management.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in ICT development and operational models, with a proven track record of leading operations accordingly.
- Experience in proactive and persuasive collaboration with stakeholders.
- Understanding of IT architecture, software development, and maintenance processes.
- At least five years of experience in project management, service procurement, or supplier management in implementation projects.
- Strong experience in the procurement, development, and implementation of packaged software.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of cloud services and readiness to adopt new technologies.
- Practical understanding of AI and insights into its future possibilities.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Finnish and English, both orally and in writing.
