Cleaner - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team remotely at Urban Playground. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our venue, ensuring that all customer areas are spotless. What You'll Do

• Provide extensive cleaning services to the entire venue, ensuring all areas meet high cleanliness standards.
• Regularly check and clean toilet facilities to maintain hygiene.
• Collect glasses and clear tables during opening hours, contributing to a pleasant customer experience.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning surfaces, emptying bins, and maintaining customer areas.
• Ensure proper signage and Health and Safety measures are in place throughout the venue.
• Carry out intensive cleaning before and after opening hours to prepare the venue for operations.
• Familiarize yourself with the venue layout to assist and direct customers effectively.
• Complete all required training in a timely manner and contribute to improving company processes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of cleaning experience, preferably in a competitive socializing or hospitality venue.
• Experience working in high customer volume environments.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends.
• A positive, ‘Can do’ attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Previous experience in customer service roles.
