Head of HR Adria - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR Adria to lead our HR strategies across Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. This remote opportunity allows you to shape impactful, people-driven HR initiatives that empower teams and drive cultural transformation. As the Head of HR Adria, you will partner with leaders to develop and execute local HR strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia, ensuring alignment with Henkel's overall goals.
- Act as the primary HR partner for local stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions.
- Support managers directly to achieve business objectives and foster professional growth within their teams.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with Henkel's policies.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to drive cultural transformation initiatives.
- Lead the local HR team, ensuring high-quality implementation of HR practices and standards.
- Foster a strong and inclusive employee experience that enhances engagement, performance, and retention.
- Represent the company in industrial relations and with trade unions, cultivating positive relationships with external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in HR Business Partner or HR Country roles within an international matrix environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in Slovenian and/or Croatian.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in driving strategic talent initiatives and leading complex HR projects.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to challenge existing approaches.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with resilience and flexibility.
- High affinity for AI and digital innovation to enhance HR processes.
