About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - remote to join our innovative team at North. This role focuses on enhancing our fraud and risk management platform through automated testing, ensuring the highest quality standards in our software development life cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the automated testing efforts for our cutting-edge platform, focusing on software testing and quality assurance.
  • Build and maintain automated functional and non-functional test suites across multiple components, including APIs, microservices, and web applications.
  • Execute code reviews and peer review processes to ensure code quality and security practices.
  • Triage system issues, including debugging, logging, and documenting bugs found during testing.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar SDET role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Functional API Testing frameworks (e.g., KarateDSL).
  • Experience with Functional UI Testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial services or financial technology industry.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of Accessibility best practices.
