Setup Designer - Remote Position at Avery Dennison

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Setup Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will work from 8AM to 5PM and be on call after hours. As a Setup Designer, you will plan, communicate, implement, and manage client set-up programming projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact revenue through effective project management and client collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple projects across one or multiple clients, ensuring that all set-up requirements are met.
• Analyze, interpret, and manage client requirements and specifications for labels, strips, signs, or any shelf edge media provided in our solutions.
• Coordinate with team members to define business rules based on data analysis and client requirements.
• Design, develop, and unit test visual digital client deliverables for Vestcom client solutions.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal cross-functional team members and ensure client satisfaction.
• Produce highly structured data mappings for use in product composition.
• Provide support to the Client Experience team for production and client support.
• Resolve client product set-up programming issues and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of related experience in the field.
• Proficiency in Setup Designer, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other applicable software.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle client interactions with tact and decorum.
• High degree of visual attention and accuracy skills to read, interpret, and apply colors and details.
• Ability to effectively solve time-sensitive problems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with production tolerances and manipulating files to meet specifications.
• Knowledge of compliance with safety policies and procedures.
