DevOps Engineer II - Hybrid Role at Axway

About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer II to join the Axway team in a hybrid work environment. As a DevOps Engineer II remote, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure that supports our mission-critical software.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure) using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment workflows.
• Assist in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems to enhance system reliability.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Bash, Python, Go).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with high-traffic, production-grade systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure).
