Senior Software QA Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of a large-scale auction platform. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will design and execute test plans, build automated and manual test suites, and validate end-to-end workflows across multiple integrated systems.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure features meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for multi-platform defects and communicate testing results effectively to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
  • Utilize your strong analytical skills and advanced troubleshooting abilities to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers while maintaining high resilience under pressure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of QA experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Expert knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, with a strong emphasis on Selenium.
  • Proficiency in coding with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to validate backend workflows.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman.
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
  • Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans for end-to-end workflows.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Kafka, Kibana, JMeter, Playwright, Azure (APIM, KeyVault), CI/CD pipelines, SignalR, and REST-based integrations.
