About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Omni Tooling & Visibility to join our remote team at DICK'S Sporting Goods. You will work on our GameChanger platform, which connects families and communities by providing live video streaming, scorekeeping, and communication tools for youth sports teams. What You'll Do

• Develop scalable enterprise solutions that power critical capabilities across DICK'S Sporting Goods.
• Analyze complex problems and deliver reliable systems that meet business needs.
• Participate in designing and conceptualizing digital products to enhance user experience.
• Drive the maintenance roadmap for software development, ensuring high performance and security.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to innovate solutions to business problems.
• Support the development of junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Contribute to achieving specific goals within established program management plans.
• Maintain an understanding of relevant technologies and best practices in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level preferred.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in software development.
• Basic experience in coordinating the work of others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of database design and development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
