About the Role
Join Abnormal Security as a Mid-Market Account Executive and take the lead in driving new business growth in the cybersecurity sector. This Mid-Market Account Executive remote position offers the opportunity to work with small to medium-sized customers, enhancing their security posture while achieving significant sales targets. You will be part of a dynamic sales organization in the DFW region, focusing on innovative security solutions that provide exceptional value to clients.
What You'll Do
- Sell Abnormal security solutions to your defined territory, aiming to exceed your annual recurring revenue quota.
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities with Mid Market accounts, collaborating with the Customer Success team for timely renewals and expansion sales.
- Act as the voice of the customer, working with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to prioritize and close revenue opportunities.
- Utilize disciplined pipeline generation strategies across various channels such as prospecting, marketing, referrals, and partners.
- Qualify customer needs effectively and present ROI-driven value propositions to stakeholders.
- Execute a repeatable sales process with a strong focus on time management and effective navigation of internal and customer buying processes.
- Gather customer insights to refine execution strategies and improve sales outcomes.
- Thrive in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling in the cybersecurity industry.
- 4 years in an individual contributor sales role.
- Strong skills in pipeline generation and disciplined sales execution.
- Ability to qualify needs and present compelling ROI-driven value to clients.
- Proven track record of navigating internal and customer buying processes effectively.
- Experience in gathering customer insights to enhance sales strategies.
- Ability to thrive in resource-constrained environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
