COBRA Analyst - Remote Position at Point C

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated COBRA Analyst to join Point C's remote team. As a COBRA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in administering and managing COBRA benefits for eligible employees and their dependents. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact our clients' satisfaction and compliance with COBRA regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and manage COBRA benefits for eligible employees and dependents.
  • Communicate effectively with former employees regarding their COBRA options and payment processes.
  • Maintain accurate COBRA records and compliance documentation.
  • Handle inquiries related to COBRA eligibility and coverage options.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Benefits teams on employee status changes.
  • Prepare and distribute COBRA notices in accordance with regulations.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of COBRA premiums and billing discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in COBRA administration or benefits management preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of COBRA laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional benefits regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FMLA) preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and benefits administration software.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
