Senior RAVE Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior RAVE Software Engineer to join our innovative team at UBC. What You'll Do

  • Oversee the writing and modification of complex software application programs.
  • Lead work groups responsible for software development, design, and quality testing.
  • Create detailed specifications or designs and conduct quality assurance reviews of peer application programming.
  • Act as a mentor to junior developers and maintain programs by coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Partner with multiple vendors to create estimates and delivery plans for projects across an application family.
  • Ensure quality technology delivery for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Provide technology leadership and accountability for solutions across various projects.
  • Lead efforts to resolve urgent and high production incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably 2-3 years at UBC, or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Must have RAVE certification for both builder and custom programming.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in other vendor EDC platforms.
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to lead discussions across all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or PBM industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across project teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Castor and Zelta EDC platforms.
  • Strong mentoring skills.
  • Adaptability to new tools and applications.
