About the Role

We are seeking a Program Coordinator - Remote for Ukraine Cities Partnership to join our team at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. This role is crucial for supporting the Ukraine Cities Partnership (UCP) and will involve providing essential operational, logistical, and administrative support. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in fostering relationships with partner cities, managing virtual meetings, and contributing to the development of impactful projects aimed at local recovery in Ukraine.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day project management and administrative support to Program Managers and Senior Fellows.
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with UCP partner cities, which may require periodic travel to Ukraine.
  • Support the planning and execution of regular virtual meetings with groups of 10–15 UCP partners across different time zones.
  • Prepare meeting-related materials, including invitations, agendas, notes, and presentations.
  • Manage online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Assist in organizing and implementing in-person private convenings and public events.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the UCP website and assist with communications and social media.
  • Conduct basic research to support program activities and partner engagement.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of full-time work experience in a think tank, public-sector institution, or non-profit organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and understanding of coordination processes.
  • Proven ability to manage workflows and maintain structured communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in Ukrainian.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including to Ukraine.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in urban development or post-conflict recovery.
  • Familiarity with digital communications and website content management systems.
  • Event planning logistics experience.
