About the Role
Join the Clean Energy Revolution as a Senior Project Management Support - Construction at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help build a better tomorrow. This Senior Project Management Support - Construction remote position is critical in delivering actionable analysis to key stakeholders and management within the Transmission team. Your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.
What You'll Do
- Support the pre-construction/construction planning processes by crafting and supervising action items and leading project team member adherence.
- Function as a subject matter expert for tools/systems of record to maintain data integrity, assist with access and training, and provide necessary support.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams, often consisting of 30 or more members.
- Assist the project manager with project-related support tasks, including preparation of progress reports, tracking project achievements, metrics, schedules, and budgets.
- Utilize project management tools and systems, including Microsoft Project, to maintain sophisticated project schedules.
- Craft and maintain project documentation, including version control, distribution, and document storage/retention.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of project data, identify risks/issues, and provide actionable status reports.
- Develop presentations and project documentation for review by departmental and organizational management and executive committees.
Requirements
- Five or more years of Project Support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP, SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in SAS, SPSS, or advanced Excel.
- Ability to present complex findings to stakeholders in a polished manner.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring junior team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial approach to business.

- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Aim to streamline the design workflow and enhance communication among stakeholders.
- Experience with regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
