Senior Technical Data Analyst - Data Warehouse Services

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Technical Data Analyst - Data Warehouse Services to join our innovative team at Aylo. As a Senior Technical Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing vast amounts of data, ensuring that our business intelligence initiatives are supported effectively. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to collaborate with a dynamic team across our offices in Nicosia, Montreal, and Austin.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Directors, Analysts, and Developers to understand business objectives and requirements, and help define the strategy, content, and features for our reporting environments.
• Engage with business partners at all levels to discuss and clarify data analysis needs and requirements.
• Analyze data structures and content from data marts to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where multitasking and adaptability are essential.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to define functional requirements, organize content, map process flows, and specify report features.
• Develop and optimize queries to investigate data issues or new reporting structures for various business units.
• Work closely with Database Administrators and Developers to estimate time and effort for report projects and refine these estimates throughout the project.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to track project status, identify potential risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Become a subject matter expert in relevant business domains and reporting tools.
• Assist in coordinating and maintaining development roadmaps to ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Data Analyst.
• Knowledge of tools to create, extract, and analyze data from SQL Server, Excel, PowerBI, Fabric, and Cubes.
• Strong customer support experience.
• Understanding of data flow concepts.
• Understanding of business model concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
