Commis Chef - In Room Dining/​Banqueting at One&Only Aesthesis

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our team at One&Only Aesthesis in Glifada, Greece. This Commis Chef remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a luxurious environment where you will assist in creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Demi Chef and Chef de Partie in the preparation, production, and service of food items in the kitchen.
• Follow standard recipes and presentation methods as directed by the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, portion sizes, and cooking methods.
• Check temperatures in fridges and storerooms to ensure food safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all Food Safety standards, including HACCP.
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentoring from senior chefs.
• Maintain a clean and organized working station, ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
• Assist with additional duties as required by management.

Requirements

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a commis chef.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods.
• Good command of English.
