Associate or Senior Editor - Nature Cancer (Remote)

About the Role

We are hiring an Associate or Senior Editor for Nature Cancer, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic editorial environment. This role allows you to contribute to groundbreaking research in cancer and oncology while working remotely or in a hybrid model from locations such as Beijing, Madrid, Nanjing, or Shanghai.

What You'll Do

• Handle original research manuscripts and oversee the editorial process, including manuscript selection and peer review.
• Commission and edit Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and News & Views.
• Write Research Highlights and Editorials to engage the scientific community.
• Travel to conferences and research institutions to connect with the scientific community.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance the journal's impact and reach.

Requirements

• A PhD or MD in cancer-relevant biomedical areas, with a strong interest in data and computational science.
• Excellent literary and communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts effectively.
• Ability to absorb and understand new areas of research quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Postdoctoral experience is a plus, but not essential.

Nice to Have

• Editorial experience is not required, but candidates with significant experience may be considered for the Senior Editor position.
