Senior Product Manager - Payment and Monetization
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Payment and Monetization to join Wallapop, a Barcelona-based scale-up dedicated to empowering conscious consumption. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the payment infrastructure and checkout experience for our users. This position allows you to work remotely while making a significant impact on our platform, which operates in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
What You'll Do
- Define the vision for Wallapop’s purchase ecosystem, focusing on payment strategies and user experience.
- Prioritize the product roadmap to maximize Pay-in volume and drive wallet adoption while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Design, test, and implement new payment services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee payment workflows to ensure seamless user experiences without sacrificing regulatory requirements.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize conversion rates and monetization through A/B testing.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality launches.
- Stay updated on technological and regulatory changes impacting payments and checkout.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years in Payments, Fintech, or E-commerce.
- Deep understanding of the payments lifecycle and familiarity with PSD2/GDPR regulations.
- Strong technical acumen to engage effectively with engineers and understand complex systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful product initiatives.
- Proficiency in English is a must; Spanish is a plus.

- Experience with machine learning concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
