About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform DevEx Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our developer experience, ensuring that our platform is robust, scalable, and efficient. As a Senior Platform DevEx Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Enhance the developer experience by optimizing workflows and tools for our engineering teams.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python and SQL to develop and maintain backend services.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
  • Participate in data migration projects and ensure data integrity across platforms.
  • Collaborate with product management to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or site reliability engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data engineering and analytics.
