Senior .NET Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Lensa. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative web-based applications and RESTful APIs while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to design and build scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop web-based applications using Microsoft ASP.NET MVC (C#).
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs with Microsoft ASP.NET Web API (C#).
• Implement front-end web development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (AJAX and client-side libraries).
• Work with .NET Core 2+ and assist in migrating from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
• Utilize strong SQL skills for database design and development in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participate actively in the design and implementation of complex projects with scalability and performance considerations.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing using libraries such as MSTest, NUnit, Selenium, and Moq.
• Implement container architecture and orchestration using Docker (nice to have).

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in web application development with ASP.NET MVC (C#).
• Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Strong front-end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with .NET Core and migration projects.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
