Finance & Accounting Associate - Fully Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team at EXUS, a global technology company specializing in debt collections software for financial services and utilities. This Finance & Accounting Associate role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our mission of delivering measurable improvements in collections, compliance, and operational efficiency across 52 countries.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate accounting activities with external bookkeepers in the UK, Cyprus, and Bahrain, supporting the monthly close process, including journal entries.
• Prepare and support vendor and operational payments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Assist with first-stage collections, including invoice follow-ups and payment reminders.
• Support compliance related to relevant tax legislation.
• Assist with payroll processes and other ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working with international entities and/or external bookkeepers is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
