Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Forrester. In this remote position, you will leverage your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, and React to tackle mission-critical challenges faced by business and technology leaders today.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement features across the stack using sound architectural and implementation practices.
• Deliver high-quality, defect-free code by anticipating issues and leading thoughtful code reviews.
• Contribute to system-level design decisions by identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Strengthen team agile SDLC processes through planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences to drive alignment and informed decisions.
• Foster team collaboration to help remove blockers and elevate team performance.

Requirements

• Four to eight years of experience developing enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot, as well as proficiency in Python for services or automation.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript and React; React Query preferred.
• Experience with microservice or micro-frontend architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions and SQL.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch) and/or Neo4j.
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.
• Experience in a data-rich SaaS or platform environment.
