About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build and modernize enterprise applications for a European Union Institution based in Luxembourg. This Senior Full-Stack Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects while advancing your career in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and integrate OpenAPI-compliant REST APIs as a Senior Full-Stack Developer.
  • Utilize Angular and modern HTML/CSS to create responsive and accessible frontend applications.
  • Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and data migration.
  • Implement event-driven architectures using message brokers like Kafka.
  • Develop and operate applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ensure secure application development, including secrets management and adherence to security standards.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them in cloud-agnostic or Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 and above).
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong background in designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend development using Angular.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • EU citizenship is required by EU Institutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL and non-REST integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of frontend and backend testing tools such as JUnit and Postman.
  • Good technical documentation skills.
