What You'll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, storage areas, and equipment following hygiene standards.
• Load and unload the dishwasher efficiently.
• Clean the entire kitchen after closing to ensure readiness for the next day.
• Empty waste bins and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and food storage areas.
• Support the kitchen team by taking deliveries and ensuring ingredients and supplies are stocked.
• Follow instructions from kitchen staff to facilitate an efficient workflow.
• Assist the Chef in basic food preparation tasks such as cutting ingredients and washing food items.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
