Apprentice Environmental & External Relations Assistant - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an Apprentice Environmental & External Relations Assistant to join our team at RTE. This role is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector while working remotely. As an apprentice, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on maintaining the optimal functioning of the electricity transport network and its environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in updating and managing environmental and external relations files.
• Prepare and monitor field interventions.
• Analyze and utilize technical and cartographic data.
• Coordinate with external partners such as local authorities, property owners, and companies.
• Draft reports, technical notes, and follow-up documents.
• Represent projects using AutoCAD in relation to our facilities.
• Support technical project monitoring and coordinate participants as part of your training.
• Conduct field surveys and analyze land data as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (S, STI2D, etc.) and seeking a 2-year apprenticeship to prepare for a BTS ATI (Technical Assistant) or BTS Geometer-Topographer.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.
• Comfortable with computer tools; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Desire to play a key role in the energy transition and contribute to a sustainable future.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the Alsace region.

Nice to Have

• Experience in environmental management or external relations.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Interest in renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
