Senior Demand Planning Specialist - Remote Opportunity

In this role, you will ensure that all scheduled sanitation and maintenance activities are meticulously planned and executed, bridging the gap between field service engineers and logistics.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and build kits to ensure field service engineers have everything needed before starting their jobs.
• Develop kitting schedules that align with the preventive maintenance cycle.
• Analyze historical demand and validate forecasts to manage inventory levels effectively.
• Act as the primary liaison between field service engineers, customer service representatives, buyers, forecasters, and logistics.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to drive commitments and results.
• Monitor and validate MRP accuracy, resolving data integrity issues as they arise.
• Expedite materials when shortages are foreseen, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct regular analysis reports and provide ad-hoc analysis support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years in a related field).
• 8 or more years of experience as a planner or expeditor, with a focus on inventory control and supply chain studies.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling systems, particularly in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of spares logistics and inventory control theories.
• Experience in high-volume customer environments.
• Previous experience in the semiconductor industry is desirable.
