About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Operations Planner to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is essential in supporting the mission of the U.S. Cyber Command and involves developing and implementing cyber operations plans. As a Senior Cyber Operations Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that execution and resource allocation decisions align with organizational objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and recommend changes to planning procedures and policies for cyber operations.
  • Assess target vulnerabilities and operational capabilities to determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Provide input to develop courses of action based on threat factors.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cyberspace operators and analysts to identify requirements for intelligence collection and analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience in developing detailed plans and orders supporting cyberspace operation requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, particularly in briefing senior management.
  • At least one year of experience at the GG-14 level or equivalent in the federal service.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cyber operations planning in a military or government context.
  • Familiarity with the Cyber Excepted Service personnel system.
  • Previous roles involving direct collaboration with intelligence and operational teams.
