Major Accounts Executive - Remote Sales Role at GitLab

About the Role

We are looking for a Major Accounts Executive to join GitLab in a remote capacity. This Major Accounts Executive role will allow you to engage with high-profile clients and manage the end-to-end sales process. As a Major Accounts Executive, you will leverage your expertise in solutions selling to build long-term partnerships and drive the adoption of GitLab's innovative products.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and support GitLab’s major accounts, ensuring a strategic partnership.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, engaging with Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and other resources.
  • Utilize your solution selling expertise to respond to customer needs and identify business potential.
  • Develop account plans based on customer business needs and performance metrics.
  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in major accounts.
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through strong account management.
  • Communicate effectively with C-Level executives and present tailored sales proposals.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis on wins/losses and share insights with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into highly complex organizations with a proven track record of quota overachievement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to C-Level executives.
  • Deep understanding of Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and share GitLab's values.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary and comply with the company’s travel policy.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in DevOps and SecOps environments.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in sales.
