Senior Counsel - Remote Position at Pacific Specialty Insurance

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Analyze insurance policy contracts and manage the database for coverage reviews.
• Draft coverage opinions and prepare coverage letters related to third-party litigation.
• Assist in managing litigation risk and oversee cases handled by outside counsel.
• Provide legal advice to all business units regarding risk exposure and claims strategy.
• Consult with departments on policy drafting and modifications.
• Handle regulatory complaints and compliance matters.
• Perform nationwide research for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal clients and outside counsel to implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of experience as an attorney in insurance law.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and disputes.
• Experience in litigation is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
