About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Human Resources Administration - Remote to join our team at New Classrooms Innovation Partners. As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will oversee HR strategy and operations for a fully remote organization dedicated to transforming K-12 education through innovative learning models and digital solutions. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive culture that values diverse identities and perspectives.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee HR Administration including payroll and employee benefits.
  • Manage personnel policies and ensure legal compliance.
  • Design and execute HR policies and processes that align with our mission.
  • Work closely with the Director, Talent & Culture to enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure a positive and supportive culture for all employees within the remote environment.
  • Develop and maintain best-in-class HR practices to support our innovative educational strategies.
  • Handle payroll using Paylocity and manage employee relations and performance management.
  • Support the development of the People and Culture budget and lead HR onboarding and offboarding processes.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in human resource administration, particularly in remote settings.
  • Experience with payroll management and knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to champion the employee experience.
  • Excellent judgment in resolving complex matters and a collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to the mission of New Classrooms.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the education sector or non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and HR software.
  • Strong communication skills to engage a diverse workforce.
