Staff Solutions Engineer - Remote Role in EMEA

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Solutions Engineer to join our innovative team at Upbound. This remote role will allow you to work from anywhere while being a crucial part of our pre-sales efforts in the EMEA region. You will engage with customers, create impactful presentations, and help design cloud architectures that drive business success.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Sales Account Executives to engage in technical discussions with customers.
• Create and deliver high-fidelity presentations and custom demos tailored to client needs.
• Assist customers in designing, building, and implementing Crossplane and Upbound Cloud architectures.
• Define, implement, and test early proof of concepts to demonstrate our solutions.
• Collect customer requirements for accurate estimation of implementation services.
• Act as the technical voice and trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales process.
• Manage accounts pre and post-sale to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or a similar role within an enterprise environment.
• Ability to develop relationships with engineering and executive teams.
• Experience guiding customers in deploying Kubernetes and a deep understanding of cloud services and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with operational and application delivery tools.
• Ability to work closely with diverse teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
