Senior Community Neighbourhood Officer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Community Neighbourhood Officer - Remote Opportunity to support the delivery of community-based activities in the Green Street area. This role involves engaging with local communities, facilitating public health initiatives, and promoting civil participation programs. You will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with local voluntary, community, and faith sector organizations.

What You'll Do

• Lead community engagement activities and programs that enhance local democracy and civil participation.
• Implement joint public health programs and initiatives to improve community well-being.
• Coordinate social integration and volunteering action planning to strengthen community ties.
• Maintain and develop positive working relationships with local organizations and stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of library and community center-based activities that serve the local population.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community engagement or neighborhood management roles.
• Strong understanding of public health programs and community development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience in implementing social integration initiatives is a plus.
