Senior Business Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Business Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships to join Pepper Money's dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while taking ownership of high-value partnerships and driving sustainable growth. What You'll Do
- Take senior ownership of high-value partnerships, including White label (non-aggregator) mortgage partners and Strategic Partnership groups.
- Act as a trusted, senior representative of the business, building strong relationships with broker principals, executive leadership, and key decision-makers.
- Drive sustainable growth through deep relationship management, leveraging your strong credit expertise to support brokers with complex scenarios.
- Identify and convert growth opportunities within existing partnerships, increasing share of wallet and utilization across your portfolio.
- Provide tailored lending solutions across Prime and specialist home lending, Construction lending, Commercial lending, SMSF lending, and Full-doc and alt-doc solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Credit, Operations, Product, and Marketing to support complex transactions and deliver a consistently high service experience for strategic partners.
- Monitor portfolio performance using data and insights to identify uplift opportunities and address risks early.
- Represent the brand with confidence and credibility at partner forums, industry events, and senior broker engagements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior BDM within mortgage lending, aggregation, or financial services.
- Strong credit capability across specialist, commercial, and SMSF lending.
- Demonstrated success managing high-value, relationship-led portfolios.
- Experience working with white label partners, strategic partnerships, or senior aggregator relationships.
- Strong understanding of the broker channel, including aggregator and white label operating models.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to balance growth, risk, and long-term partnership value.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, broker principals, and executive teams.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate as required.
