About the Role

Gensler is seeking a Senior Architect - Data Centres & Critical Facilities to join our Birmingham & London office. As a Senior Architect, you will leverage your extensive experience in data centre design to create innovative and efficient environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with a talented team of architects and designers.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design of unique data centre environments, ensuring high-quality outcomes from concept to completion.
• Engage in all phases of the design process, including programming, concept design, schematic design, and technical development.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, and sections.
• Support the Principals in developing strong client and contractor relationships.
• Collaborate with team members across Gensler’s practice areas, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in Architecture or Architecture Technology.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3Ds Max is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience in the data centre and critical facilities sectors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills and ability to work under pressure.
