Purchasing Associate - Clinical Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Associate - Clinical Operations to join our team at Novocure. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our mission of extending the lives of people living with cancer. As a Purchasing Associate - Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for managing clinical vendors and overseeing site payments for Global Clinical Operations. Your work will ensure that clinical purchasing and payment activities are executed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Perform end-to-end management of clinical vendor and site payments for assigned studies, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up and update vendor information and create purchase orders in relevant systems.
  • Manage, process, and track vendor invoices and payments.
  • Review data from EDC and applicable systems to validate site/vendor invoices.
  • Act as the primary contact for resolving vendor invoice/payment inquiries.
  • Assist in developing investigator payment forecasts and distribute monthly payment reports.
  • Support month-end closing and reporting cycles, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Participate in payment-related special projects and support process improvements.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business (Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Legal) is required.
  • Approximately 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or clinical operations.
  • Basic understanding of clinical trials and medical device development processes.
  • Experience with financial/payment processing systems such as SAP/ARIBA is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a global environment.

Nice to Have

  • Clinical research experience at a Sponsor or CRO.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts and practices.
