About the Role

Cresta is hiring a full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer - AI Agent Remote. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems that power our AI-driven solutions. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will work closely with a team of talented engineers and data scientists to create scalable and efficient systems that enhance user experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement robust backend systems for AI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
