What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals in platform operations, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.
• Oversee the management of Unix/Linux-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Implement automation solutions using tools like Ansible to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Coordinate on-call rotations to maintain 24/7 service availability, acting as the escalation point for critical incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform operations with business objectives and provide regular updates on system performance.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in guiding technical teams, with a strong background in Unix/Linux administration and open-source automation.
• Technical expertise in Kubernetes, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra, with familiarity in Kafka being a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex operational issues under pressure.
• Strong communication abilities to convey technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with evolving open-source technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of networking components such as VLANs and BGP.
